adding one more to the H-Family! Amanda Prince San Diego Maternity Photos

and now the BIG questions, who WIll he look like??!!

Well now, the H-Family is having another baby and it’s a BOY- yeah! He was just born and I will be meeting him soon to answer that all important question of who he looks like :)

Clearly this is one gorgeous family and I have been thrilled to work with them over the last few years and Miss-M is adorable but sure looks a lot like her dad….so Mom and I decided to surprise him with a little note from baby-boy.  Ha ha , no matter who he looks like he will be handsome for sure!

kickin’ it with miss-K! carlsbad senior photography

Can you believe how beautiful the high school seniors are around here? and I am lucky enough to work with all of these great girls and their families!

Miss-K is gearing up for graduation and starting college in Colorado in the fall. It was clear to see how much her family will miss her and how proud they are of her wonderful accomplishments! Her brother was also able to join in for a few photos, not only are they close in age, they were also great friends.

Best of luck to Miss-K and her family as they enjoy this wonderful time! thanks for letting me tag along too ;)

Look out - it’s the C-sisters!!! carlsbad family photography

So can you feel the FUN tonight?! Yup, I had another awesomely fun family to work with!

At the ages of 9 and 11, these two were not only beautiful, but a total blast to hang with. I love working with sisters this close in age because you can tell they truly are great friends and I hope that as they get older, these photos will remind them of how wonderfully lucky they are to have each other.

Thank you to the entire C-family for allowing me the honor of photographing your 2 lovelies! I hope the new braces are doing ok ;-)

an A-mazing evening with the A-Fam! La Jolla Family Photographer Amanda Prince

When Mr. A called me to get his wife a session gift certtificate for the Holidays, I knew I was in for a fun session! When they chose La Jolla and the Museum of Contemporary Art for their location, I knew we would have a great time and get along well! When we actually met and realized we all had an interesting connection (they bought our old place a few years ago) we were all shocked- lol

I had so much fun with them wandering the streets of La Jolla with little man-R singing, joking, and making me laugh. It’s also nice when mother nature delivers such a beautiful setting for a beautiful family session.

50 Wonderful Years! - Carlsbad Family Photographer Amanda Prince

This was such a special session to be a part of as this amazing couple and family came together from across the country to celebrate a Golden Anniversary. My own words seem inconsequential in this situation so I though I would share a poem…

Role Models

You two are role models
for everyone who believes in eternal love,
for those who trust that there really is
a “one and only.”
You are role models
for the benefits of a happy marriage
through unconditional love for one person
for fifty years.
You are role models,
showing that two are better than one,
that it is better to be a team
in facing life’s challenges.
You are role models
for commitment, for caring,
for unselfish devotion.

sweet baby-I! a sneak peek!

Do you remember little baby-I? She’s been around before and it’s been so wonderful to document her changes over the last 9 months!!

She’s clearly adorable and has the sweetest personality and smile! She loved listening to her mommy sing during her session and was much more into exploring than having her photos taken, but we got her :) She did such a great job for me, I can’t wait to see her again in a few months!

talk about that maternity glow! a sneak peek!

now this is one gorgeous momma to be!!

and the gorgeous couple. The song “Can you feel the Love Tonight” kept running through my head while editing ;) I just adore the way they are looking at each other!

and their first family photo!

Such a fun and beautiful couple, soon to be a family of three! Somehow they have made it through 38 weeks of pregnancy and do NOT know what they are having. I don’t know how they can stand the suspense, especially when baby is so cute in the ultrasound photos. I am thinking girl, but I guess we will all have to stay tuned a few more weeks to find out.

You two were a blast, thanks for allowing me to join you on this journey and capture this wonderful time of your lives!! I can’t wait to meet your little one!

A Gorgeous Wedding!!! a sneak peek!

first off, I have to show you just how stunning this bride was!!

and the handsome groom and buddies…

and their new rings! they used these stones to have guests sign in, I was thrilled to use them for this photo too.

Let me just start by saying this was the absolute BEST wedding ever!! The bride and groom are fantastic people who wanted to get married surrounded by their friends and family during an intimate ceremony. People came from all across the country to surround the happy couple with support, love, and friendship.

The ceremony was beautiful with family members participating throughout, there wasn’t a dry eye to be found! Everyone in attendance was special to the bride and groom, the amount of love and support was absolutely  amazing!

A huge Congratulations to Bethany, Quincy, and their wonderful families!! 

It was an honor to play a small part in your special day, I know that

spring break with the W-fam! a sneak peek!!

Lucky me, as a photog in Southern Cali I get to work with a lot of families on vacation! The W-fam came out from Kansas for a wonderful spring break trip so we met at the beach for some fun in the sun :)

I absolutely love the shots of the kids together, just seems like a great time in their lives and they both did such a great job working with me. Can you just feel the fun in the family shots? They really were SO fun to work with and I hope these vacation photos remind them of their wonderful time together for many years to come.
