so-cal life - a sneak peek!!

I frequently feel like we live in an episode of “We Live Here” from Fine Living Network. It’s diffucult to express how much those of us that do live here LOVE it!!
This session is a perfect example of life here to me. We live with and love the water, the beach, the sand. This is our life, not just in pictures, but how we live every day.

The most important thing we do here? It’s time with our children!! and Mrs. S and little-K are the most perfect example of what really matters. I loved capturing these special moments for them, that wonderful bond between mother and daughter, so beautiful it actually leaves me speachless.

who’s that girl? - a sneak peek!!

So, who is that girl??!! It’s Miss-M who is getting ready to graduate- yeah! As part of the Class of 2009 at CHS, we really wanted to keep things local and just bounced around town looking for fun places to shoot.

While she’s clearly stunning, she is also a fun and bright girl who I had a blast working with. Your senior year should be fun, and so should your senior portraits. I think we got it for you this time ;)

fun with the H-family - a sneak peek!!

Meet the H-family! Clearly a hip and fun gang, we looked for some local flavor for their photos. Little j was showing us his super hero moves, aren’t they great! and that adorable little face, he’s just too cute.

The van isn’t theirs, but looks like it should be huh :) It just sums up So-Cal life in such a great way, thanks to the owner for letting us borrow it for a minute!

Oh how gorgeous are these kiddos?! Little J is 2 and miss C is almost 6 months old, the entire family was so fun to work with! Thanks for being such troopers for me braving the chilly beach and intersting folks at the park- lol.

the extended C-family - a sneak peek!

It can be so difficult to get families together these days. When you grow up, have a career and family which take you all over the country, it’s not often the entire group can get together.
Well for mom’s birthday, the whole gang made it to San Diego to celebrate!! It was so fun to meet all of you and I love getting to take special photos like this for families to remember their time together :) What a gorgeous and fun gang to work with!!

high five!!

one-two-three-four…..high FIVE!!!

The day has finally arrived and she is 5.
Seems like a good time to update everyone on what she’s up to:

* She says she wants to be a photographer when she grows up (ahhh)
* favorite color is green
* likes to eat ice cream, with rainbow pink sprinkles
* loves to dance and sing
* reads and colors a lot
* favorite shows are Chowder and Scooby Doo
* favorite food is teddy grahams
* loves her Minnie Mouse sneakers
* got a Hannah Montana build-a-bear for her birthday which rarely leaves her side :)

Happy Birthday Ella! We are so proud of the wonderful little girl you are becoming!

The adorable C family- a sneak peek!

Meet the C family, adorable and adventurous! We braved the wind and cold for a beach session and had a ball. I love to use these great stairs during sessions, but this time they were very helpful in getting us out of the wind and drifting sand for a bit. I must say that these were 2 of the cutest and most well-behaved little boys I have ever met, and those gorgeous blue eyes had me at hello :)

It’s so neat to meet a family like this, gorgeous and fun, and just hang out with with my camera in hand. While they haven’t lived out here very long, they certainly had a laid back Cali attitude which made my job easy even when the weather may not have been on our side.

I hope that you like your little peak, thanks again for a wonderful evening!

availability update.

Just a quick note to let you all know that we are officially booked for fall- yeah!

I am so excited to work with all of you in the scheduled upcoming sessions, we are going to have a blast!
Don’t fret if you aren’t on the schedule yet, you can always purchase a gift certificate and schedule your session for January and I will keep a running waiting list as well.

the stunning little miss-s - a sneak peek!

I am so happy to introduce you to this little stunner! Miss-s is just 2 weeks old and just a precious as can be. It’s easy to see that she takes after her beautiful mommy already, such a great family to work with.

Mom really wanted a photo of the siblings together, which is not an easy task with an almost 2 year old and a 2 week old, but I think we pulled it off wonderfully :)

Enjoy your peek gang, S is so sweet, thank you for letting my join you and capture these beautiful moments for you! I am totally humbled and honored.
