Just a quick May gray post to let you know about a fun photo site I like to visit, http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com/ Check it out for tutorials and a free friendly photographer’s community.
This is one of my favorite photos of Ella, probably because she looks so quiet here which is rarely the case with my chatter box
Also just wanted to remind everyone that I am on Facebook, and if you “like” my fan-page, you will get extra sneak peeks, the latest session availability and become the first to know about Special Promotions! Click HERE to visit the fan-page, don’t forget to click on the like button at the top and make sure you have all the latest news.
Countdown to Vancouver- with a contest!
February 9, 2010 – 2:52 pm
I am so psyched for the Olympics starting in only 3 more days!! There is something about watching such amazing athletes that is SO inspiring, I just can’t wait! And for the games to be in Canada this year too…
O Canada, our home and native land. True patriot love in all thy sons…. ok- so I can’t really sing but truly dig their national anthem ![]()
There are so many things I love about Canada too- like Tim Horton’s, I swear Toronto has the friendliest people ever, they speak French and of course Sarah McClachlan!
Then there is this one little thing I don’t really like about Canada, the annual seal slaughter.
“So what can we do about it?” you ask.
1. click here to sign the petition and let the Olympic Committee know how you feel
2. boycott Canadian maple syrup, buy American or even better, buy Hanna’s Gold, and make a bigger difference
3. help spread the word- send your friends here for info and a chance to win

Once you sign the petition, head back here, leave a comment and you are automatically entered to win your own Hug me - don’t club me t-shirt. Yup, it’s that easy. All comments on this post before Friday February 12, midnight pacific time are entered to win!! The winner will be chosen via random drawing and announced Saturday February 13th.
It has been an unbelievable honor to take part in this campaign and photographing Hannah was great!! Now it’s time to cheer here on as she competes in Vancouver!
Thanks for all of your help, Good Luck and enjoy cheering on our wonderful athletes participating in the 2010 Winter Olympics in gorgeous Vancouver, Canada.
*contest has ended, Congrats to JULIE!!! and thanks to all who entered*
littlest hero project- a sneak peek!
March 17, 2009 – 7:18 pm
One of the greatest joys of being a professional photographer is some of the great Charity organizations I have the privilege of being involved with!
This little man came to me through the littlest hero project (http://www.littlestheroesproject.org ) and as he is about to celebrate his first birthday, we rushed to get him some cute photos. Although little-T has already faced some health challenges, he is currently doing well and his parents are very hopeful for his future!
Please join me in wishing this little hero a Very Happy First Birthday!!!
*side note* I will be out of the office for a few days. As many of you know, I was recently diagnosed with skin cancer and will have surgery tomorrow. Thank you to all who have called and emailed to check on me, I am doing well and will post an update after surgery.
