‘cuz they’re leaving on a jet plane- a sneak peek!

August 19, 2008 – 6:48 pm

OK- they are not really leaving on a jet plane, but they are leaving! A great opportunity came up for M and P to move closer to family in Texas so they are packing up and moving just 2 weeks from now!!

I was thrilled that P called me to take some fun beach photos of them here before they left. Such a fun couple to work with, I can tell that they laugh a lot and they sure had me laughing  ;) The last photo was taken on the way out, pretty cool mood lighting on the stairs at the beach caught my eye.

I wish you both the best of luck on your moving adventure!! Enjoy your little peak, many more to come in your gallery.

celebrating a birthday p-family - a sneak peek!

Lucky me, I was asked to capture a family vacation celebrating Dad’s Birthday!! I won’t tell you how old he is, but there may be a tiny clue above ;)

The whole p-family was great to work with, two energetic boys sure kept me on the move trying to capture their cuteness! I finally got them, both boys were just adorable and seemed to have a lot of fun running around at the beach.

I hope that you all enjoyed your time in San Diego and that these photos will help you remember all of the fun you had here together, I sure will.

introducing effendi- a furbaby sneak peek!

Our families are all made up a bit differently and I have been asked to include the family pet many times during a family session… So, why not treat your furbaby to a session of their own!

I know that our doggie is part of the family and I take photos of him regurlarly, so when my best bud Amy wanted some photos of her sweet kittie, I jumped at the chance :)

Effendi was such a good sport for her session, posing and meowing like a pro! I love her expression with her beloved can of food- lol

Thanks to A and E for a wonderful afternoon, the sneezing was all worth it!

Wow, what a fun session I had with these two!! J & J are about to have their first baby, a little girl, due in just a few weeks! Isn’t she the most gorgeous soon-to-be-mommy ever!

I can’t wait to meet their little girl in a few weeks, looking at them, I can only imagine how beautiful she will be…  Thanks you guys for allowing me to capture this special time in your lives, I am truly honored and humbled that you called me :)

Um- hello, can you beleive how beautiful these children are? They cerainly take after their wonderful parents, what a great family to work with!

This famly shot is one of my all-time faves, it’s just so real and reflective of life with little ones, totally makes me smile :)

it’s miss p’s first birthday!! - a simply kids sneak peek

Yuppers, it’s adorable miss p’s first birthday so she just had to have a bit of cake and portraits to celebrate :)

Mom and grandma brought her in for her session and I can see where miss p get’s her gorgeous looks as well as that fun and funky personality! What a great group to work with, we all laughed til our stomachs hurt.

Simply kids was designed to capture your child and what they are doing now, and boy did miss p put on a show for us. As she is about to turn one, she showed her gorgeous smile, laughs, snuggles, walking, exploring, and climbing skills :) I will have to show you all a few more later this week because she is just too adorable to keep to myself!

I had to include a close-up of that perfectly sweet little face as well as her mad climbing skills, and that cake! Her first real cake and she seemed to have fun, hopefully the sugar rush didn’t last too long…

Thanks again to her mom and grandma for being such great sports and assistants yesterday, your hard work paid off big time.

Can I just tell you how much I love LOVE love these photos?!

The story behind them is even better! Imagine siblings, 3 boys and one girl, who grow up and go on to find their own way… although they stay in touch, getting everyone together is very difficult.

So, they manage their schedules and come from Japan, Texas, Northern Cali, and So-Cal for a get together for the first time in 8 years! As an addition to spending some great time together, they decide to get photos taken as a surprise for their parents * ahhhh*
Luckily, they called me :) Or really, Miss M called me and the brothers had NO idea what they were in for- lol   We ended up with some stunning images of a clearly stunning and gorgeous family!

Thank you to the entire gang for being such great sports and I hope that you enjoy your sneak peek! I did get all those gorgeous teeth in a smile shot, just for Mom and Dad :D
